Garbage removal from Napal is still locked in city theres around 2400 tonnes of garbage, and the European Commission has already theraten with sanctions against Italy if it can't resolve this crisis. Local people protest against the dump excess fill and new installation (it is planned to be installed just a few hundred meters from the Vesuvius National Park boundaries) began several weeks ago. The night of Sunday demonstrations grew into the violence and clashes with the police.
